Born and raised in Johannesburg South Africa in a family where home cooking was paramount, Justin "Charlie" Brown's love for food and all things culinary was instilled at an early age by his Mom. Inspired and supported by his family he went on to careers in "snack type" industries before owning and running his own Pizza Shop in South Africa and Steak House in Mozambique, he grew up with a real passion for Biltong... A passion that still burns today. Justin now prepares his Biltong Snacks in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside with the same traditional methods and family recipes passed down from generations!
